A study tour is a unique travel experience that combines learning with travelling. Sometimes referred to as Educational Tourism, it is about venturing to new places with curiosity and openness that will enable learning and personal growth. The area of study that you are interested in exploring will determine how the tour is organised, but it is now guaranteed that when you make a choice to Kasese, Lions campsite and Education centre will be there for you.

Lions Campsite and education centre located in Kamaiba upper cell, Kamaiba Ward, Central Division of Kasese Municipality in Kasese District is the new place to host students on tour around Destination Kasese for an immerse experience. The Centre also has capacity to make arrangements for an exciting itinerary. Sports activities like football, volleyball, netball, indoor games are also provided at the centre.

On top of organizing descent and comfortable accommodation, at Lions Campsite and Education Centre, we have experienced professionals who can help guests to organize study tours, cultural exchange trips, community-based trips, faith-based trips, and refreshment and adventure tours, especially for schools, colleges and universities and other organized groups. Our team at LCEC has experience in organizing tailor-made itineraries for different guests.

Lions Campsite and Education Centre has a component of training where visiting students and or other guests can be taken through field expectations. After fieldwork, the students and or other clients can retreat at the Centre and share their experiences from the field. The Centre is near a sister institution, 3 Wise Men’s Star Kindergarten and Primary Kasese which has internet connectivity that will help visiting students and or other guests to access global information as and when it is necessary.

The Staff accompanying visiting students have accommodation provided at the centre to enable them manage discipline of the students.

Our aim is to find safe accommodation and routes that are away from busier trails – and crowds – so that students can immerse themselves into an authentic experience.

Activities that you can incorporate into your next School Group Adventures include: Trekking or day walks, Wildlife Safaris, Community Projects, agro-tourism trips, Cultural Tourism and more.
