Kithulha Care Initiative Rewards Over 100 PLE Giants in Kasese Municipality

The Sponsor Kithulha Care Initiative handing over a suit case to one of the beneficiaries

Kithula Care Initiative, a Kasese based organization has successfully awarded 131 PLE giants from the 27 government aided primary schools in Kasese Municipality.

The beneficiaries received Mattresses, Metallic suitcases and an appreciation package of UGX 100,000/- to teachers (Per School).

The awarding exercise was carried out from 13th Feb to 14th Feb 2024 in the three divisions of Kasese Municipality at selected zonal centers.

Francis Mugisa Kithulha one of the sponsors at Kithulha Care Initiative thanked the parents for choosing to keep their children in school despite the tough economic situations.

“I also thank the teachers for the job well done in sharing knowledge with our children,” Kithula said.

He added that; “By awarding the best Candidates, we are giving back to the community and also to inspire these young people to be good citizens in future”.

The Chief Executive Officer Kithulha Care Initiative revealed that Education and Sports is one of their key focus areas in the workspace of the organization.

“Besides awarding the best candidates, we have a running bursary scheme for Nursing students at two institutions in the district,” Nzaghale revealed.

“Kithulha Care Initiative gifts the best two candidates from every government schools regardless of the aggregates scored”. He added.

Jolly Biira the chairperson for social services at Kasese Municipal Council thanked Kithulha Care Initiative for the good gesture and advised parents to take their children to schools they can afford so as to avoid school fees stress.

Leonsio Baluku one of the parents to the beneficiaries thanked the organization for the support and the teachers for the job well done.

“Our children are being awarded because of you teachers, we are so grateful and I ask my fellow parents to support these teachers in their work”.Baluku said.

One of the beneficiaries, Nakaketo Aisha who scored 11 Aggregates from St. Peter’s Primary School thanked Kithulha Care for the support and love after she received her brand new suitcase.

Kithulha Care Initiative is a community based organization operating in Kasese Municipality and other parts of Kasese District.

The initiative has been awarding best Candidates at PLE and UCE levels on top of offering Bursaries for the last 2 years.

In sports, Kithula Care Initiative has supported a number of sports activities including Kasese Basketball Club and a number of football tournaments.
